Patent Pending“Overweight Cat?”
![]()
Is your cat overweight? Does he lack the energy he once had? Some cats obviously need to lose weight; they look like beach balls with legs! But some others that look "big boned" may also need to lose weight to reduce the likelihood of developing diabetes, arthritis, and other ailments. Your veterinarian should be able to tell you if your cat‘s weight matches his frame.
“Diets for Cats?”
![]()
Never put a cat on a crash diet! Doing so can cause a serious, and often fatal, condition called hepatic lipidosis. Ask your veterinarian to recommend a diet for your cat. A cat’s food needs to be high in protein and fat, and low in carbohydrates. Lower quality foods contain a higher percentage of carbohydrates which contribute to obesity. Do not suddenly switch to a higher quality cat food. Instead, mix the old food with the new food, gradually increasing the percentage of higher quality food until you completely switch to the new food. You will probably also need to reduce the amount of food given to your cat daily.
“Diet and Exercise!”

Just as with humans, the combination of diet and exercise works better than just diet alone. However, many people who start their own diet and exercise programs do not stay with them. A personal trainer helps many people to attain their ideal weight and become physically fit. You should think of yourself as your cat’s personal trainer. It is up to you to provide your cat the proper diet and exercise program. Since it is very hard to teach a cat to walk on a leash, you need alternatives to provide the exercise, which can be difficult with really overweight cats.
“The Kibble Dribbler Can Help!”
![]()
How can the Kibble Dribbler help your cat get his weight under control? A cat in its natural environment has to be active to get its food; walking, stalking, and running to catch his supper. The Kibble Dribbler can help your cat to become physically active, which will make him more physically fit. The Kibble Dribbler provides you with an effective method of increasing your cat’s activity, since he must lift, pull, or push it to get his meal. It releases only a small amount of food each time it tumbles, allowing your cat to eat for a longer time while still reducing the amount of food he eats. When your cat’s weight is under control, he will feel better and be more active, making it easier for him to chase that laser pointer or cat toy. He may also live longer, providing you with companionship for many more years.
“The Kibble Dribbler in Action!”
Not only is the Kibble Dribbler a great piece of exercise equipment, it's also a lot of fun! Fun, both for your cat, and you!

“How Does the Kibble Dribbler Work?”
![]()
After teaching your cat to use the Kibble Dribbler (this is explained in the instructions), place dry cat food into the first chamber. As your cat pushes, pulls, lifts, and tumbles the Kibble Dribbler, the food slowly moves from the first chamber to the second chamber, then to the third chamber, and finally, out the holes in the cover. Your cat will soon see the Kibble Dribbler as a toy that rewards him for playing with it. It will take him longer to eat his food and will get exercise while he does it.
